The Revolution

Welcome to the era of tokenisation.
Art has taken a modern approach in the form of digital tokens. A term called Phygital had been thrown around in the conversation lately.
It is physical art with a digital representation that will run on the blockchain easily verifying authenticity. Additionally, there will be ease of exchange and the blockchain will validate the ownership.
My tokenised artworks will utilise the highest performance blockchain of it's kind, open source and fully decentralised, the XRP Ledger.
Future meets past. Past meets future.

The Artist

Giancarlo or Carlo as he is known is a Sydney based artist with Filipino roots.
His works encompass subjects of his own interests such as Philosophy, Science, History, Spirituality and the human experience with a hint of the peculiar.
He grew up in a house full of art, in effect, it was natural for him to develop an interest in drawing and painting at an early age. His mother, who is a passionate art collector herself, noticed the talent in the young boy and took him to various art schools and art competitions. He continued the recreation until about his late teens where he had a loss of enthusiasm in the arts and pursued other interests and career.
After a series of disappointments, failures and heartbreaks, he allowed himself to be lost, travelling and gallivanting around the world. Pain via pleasure, pleasure via pain. In the midst of the shuffle, he sought freedom. And out of freedom and authenticity, emerged the artist.
